Land Rover slotted a new Landmark trim into the Discovery lineup, between the base S and flagship Tempest, with an exclusive Tasman Blue paint finish and upgraded interior. UK prices start from £75,860 (about $101,100).

Audi chief technical officer Rouven Mohr says one model can no longer satisfy the US, China, and Europe at once. China gets a standalone "AUDI" lineup built with SAIC and sold without the four rings, alongside the classic Audi range which stays. The US and Europe will get more region-specific models and configurations too.

BYD's new flagship sedan for the Ocean sub-brand launches in China at 5,150 mm long, with five powertrain variants split between plug-in hybrid (DM-i) and battery-electric (EV) forms. Ford tested its Ford Security Package on the F-150 using Tag, a trained 800-pound grizzly bear known from Yellowstone, who rocked, clawed at, and even opened a door on the truck. The system correctly flagged every intrusion attempt and notified the owner through Ford's mobile app.

Jeep has opened US orders for the Recon EV, its first fully electric, Trail Rated off-roader. Only the range-topping Moab trim is available so far, with 650 hp and a 357 km EPA range, starting at $66,995.

Shown as the Avante at the Busan Motor Show, the new Elantra grows in every dimension and gains a sharply creased look. It keeps petrol and hybrid power - a 149 hp 2.0-litre and a 157 hp 1.6 hybrid, both front-wheel drive - with no EV version. Korean prices land in Q3 2026, preliminarily from about $15,000.
