The Leapmotor A10 is a subcompact electric SUV built for high-volume, value-focused buyers. It measures 4,270 mm long on a 2,605 mm wheelbase, placing it in the B-segment. Sales began in March 2026, and the car is produced in Jinhua, Zhejiang. In Europe it is sold as the Leapmotor B03X, with distribution backed by Stellantis.
A single front motor produces up to 121 hp and drives the front wheels, with a 160 km/h top speed. Two Gotion lithium-iron-phosphate batteries are offered: a 39.8 kWh pack for 403 km of CLTC range and a 53 kWh pack for 505 km. DC charging takes the battery from 30 to 80 percent in 16 minutes. The entry version covers 0 to 100 km/h in 12.2 seconds, reflecting the car’s focus on efficiency and cost over outright pace.
Inside, the A10 follows Leapmotor’s value approach, pairing a central touchscreen with a practical five-seat cabin and 602 litres of boot space that expands to 1,549 litres with the seats folded.
Pricing in China runs from 65,800 yuan (~$9,800) (403 km) to 86,800 yuan (~$12,900) for the 505 km version with lidar. The A10s, launched on 18 October 2026 at 92,800 yuan (~$13,800), sits 6,000 yuan (~$900) above that trim. It keeps the 53 kWh battery, the 505 km CLTC range, the 90 kW (121 hp) front motor and the 16-minute 30 to 80 percent charge, and adds Qualcomm SA8295 cockpit and SA8650 driver-assistance chips alongside the lidar. Body dimensions are unchanged. The A10 is a central part of Leapmotor’s international expansion.
Australia
Leapmotor Australia prices the B03X, as the A10 is badged there, at A$26,990 (~$19,300) for the Style and A$30,990 (~$22,100) for the Design LR, both before on-road costs. A drive-away promotion of A$29,990 (~$21,400) and A$33,990 (~$24,300) runs for Acorn Brown cars bought and delivered between 1 October and 31 December 2026, and premium paint adds A$990 (~$700). Cars reach dealers in November 2026. Australian press billed it as the country’s cheapest electric SUV at that launch pricing.
The Australian car keeps the front-wheel-drive layout but carries different numbers from the Chinese one. The Style has a 39.8 kWh LFP battery, a 130 kW motor and up to 292 km of WLTP range. The Design LR has a 53 kWh LFP battery, a 145 kW motor and up to 382 km. Both make 200 Nm, reach 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and top out at 160 km/h. Peak DC charging is 100 kW on the Style and 133 kW on the Design LR, and both take about 16 minutes for 30 to 80 percent. Range here is WLTP, which is not comparable with the CLTC figures on the China tab. Leapmotor backs the car with a six-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty.
